UEFA Europa League Qualifying: Dortmund vs. Odds BKPublished August 27, 2015 by Sol FH
Borussia Dortmund vs Odds BK in second leg of Europa League qualifying live at 19:30 GMT.
The comeback that Borussia Dortmund put together in the first leg of their Europa League qualifying against Odds BK was nothing short of a miracle. The German squad was down by three goals after only 22 minutes against the Norwegian side and their chances of winning were bleak.
The first goal, scored by Jone Samuelsen after just 14 seconds was a lucky shot, but when Fredrik Nordkvelle and Espen Ruud found the back of Dortmund's goal a few minutes later it became obvious that the Germans needed to turn up the heat.
The lead was short lived however, as Dortmund came back with four unanswered goals beginning in the 34th minute by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The second goal came a few minutes after the half by Shinji Kagawa and Aubameyang's second goal of the evening made BVB even. Five minutes before the end of the match Henrikh Mkhitaryan headed in the nail in the coffin and took the visitors home with a memorable victory.
Tonight, the Norwegians have a very difficult task at hand, as they will be playing in Germany in front of the diehard BVB fans, in need of numerous unanswered goals to win. Dortmund will not let this happen, as their Europa League berth is theirs to lose.
Teams are at full strength tonight, which should make it obvious that BVB are the better team.
