UFC 259: Fight Card, Preview & Odds

The stage is set for another highly-anticipated UFC main event featuring Jan Błachowicz and Israel Adesanya, Sunday, 3:00 GMT.

If you thought the biggest fight of the year would have been McGregor vs. Poirer or Usman vs. Burns, you've been asleep, because UFC 259 is about to become one of the most memorable nights of all time. There are three title fights on the card for this UFC fight night, that's right three, and we've got everything you need to know.

Main Event, Błachowicz vs. Adesanya, Light Heavyweight Title

Israel Adesanya is the current UFC Middleweight Champion and the next in line to become a UFC mega-star. He is doing what not a lot of fighters ever get to do in their career and is moving up a weight class to take on the newly crowned Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz. Adesanya is interested in becoming a champion's champion. But, he may have bitten off a bit more he can chew with the huge knockout power of Blachowicz.

Adesanya is the favorite to win this fight, even though he is the lighter of the two fighters and doesn't have experience in the Light Heavyweight class. bet 365 Sports likes Adesanya's chances at 1.44, while Blachowicz is at 2.40.

Nunes vs. Anderson, Women's Featherweight Title

All-time featherweight champion, Amanda Nunes is set to defend her title against Aussie star Megan Anderson. This is the biggest women's fight in the UFC until the Nunes/Cyborg rematch, so be sure to take it all in. Nunes is the more experienced fighter and will most-likely successfully defend her title against the Australian.

Nunes is the outright favorite in this matchup at 1.10. bet365 Sports does not like Anderson's chances and have her at a flat 7.00.

Yan vs. Sterling, Bantamweight Title

The last of the title fights in UFC 259 is between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling. These two are arguably the best bantamweight in the world at the moment and expect a fast-paced bout that may not end as fast as the other fights on the card.

There are a total of 15 fights scheduled for UFC 259 and bet365 Sports has pre-match odds for each.

The odds in this article at the bookmaker mentioned above were accurate at the time of writing, March 4 at 16:00 GMT.
