A $1 online lottery ticket can result in a $105 million prize thanks to the U.S. Mega Millions Lottery!
After the draw on Friday didn’t reveal any winners for the U.S. Mega Millions jackpot, the amount has been rolled over yet again and it is now worth $105,000,000. The next draw will take place on Tuesday, September 30 at 11pm ET. This also makes it the biggest lottery jackpot in the world at this time and the only one to have nine digits.
How To Play U.S. Mega Millions Lottery
The popularity of the American lottery is in no small part due to the simplicity of the process. Interested players can easily take part in the action by buying a ticket, or several. The cost is one dollar per play and each ticket has a total of six numbers which are selected from two different pools. The regular five numbers, also known as the white balls, are picked from a pool of numbers from 1 to 75 while the special number, also known as the yellow ball, comes from a pool of 15 consecutive numbers.
In order to win the jackpot, all six numbers must match the ones randomly extracted on the draw. Smaller prizes can be won by only getting some of the numbers right, up to $1 million for matching all the five white balls. An additional Megaplier can be purchased for $1 more per play and this will multiply non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times. This option however is not available in all states.

Although the U.S. Mega Millions only sells tickets in retail stores throughout the nation, there are services on the internet which allow people from other countries to easily purchase online lottery tickets, like Lottery Master and The Lotter. Customers can choose which numbers they want to play and then representatives will buy the tickets in their name and send them a scanned image for proof.
The winner will have to come and claim the jackpot in person but this should not be an issue seeing that it is worth $105 million.
