US Poker Site Offers Apple Users Windows 7

Legal Online gambling is taking off in the United States, and already players are the main beneficiaries thanks to some innovative promotions like the one being offered by Ultimate Poker.

Ultimate Poker, the first online gambling operator to open its doors with a Nevada licence, has already, has already dealt out more than half a million hands and paid out $10,000 as part of its first tournament. But it came up with an innovative way this week to attract those left out of its Texas Hold'em games - Mac users.

UP's licensed online poker site doesn't support Apple's OS X, so here is its solution: it is promising to cover the cost of emulating Windows on a Mac until it can provide an OSX version of its software. Ultimate Poker made history earlier this month by dealing the first legal, real-money online poker hand in the United States. Along with 888, it is one of the first companies to enjoy the benefits of a Nevada online gambling license, but this is just the tip of the iceberg considering that Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware have all licensed online gambling in some form in the past year.
