The jackpot for tonight's Powerball draw is an estimated $166 million, rolling over by a further $25 million after nobody matched all six numbers in Saturdays' $141 million jackpot draw.

Four American came oh so close to hitting the jackpot on Saturday night: four tickets with five numbers (but missing the Powerball) were bought by residents of Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana and Massachusetts respectively, with each of them taking away a $1 million cash prize.
The numbers drawn on Saturday were 14, 25, 27, 38 and 58 and the missing Powerball number was 6.
New Day, Bigger Jackpot
Residents of 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the US Virgin Islands will be buying their tickets and holding their breath as the country's biggest lottery is drawn again on Wednesday. Players from around the world will also be holding tickets purchased for as low as $2 through online lottery ticket agents such as Lotterymaster and The Lotter.
The all-time record Powerball jackpot is $590.5 million, won on May 18 this year by Gloria McKenzie of Zephyrhills, Florida. Powerball starts at $40 million by climbs by millions every time there is no winner. The only way to hit the jackpot is to match all five balls and the sixth, bonus Powerball number.
