Online gaming company joins the mobile revolution through Microgaming software.
Virgin Games is the latest online gaming company to join the mobile revolution, announcing this week that it will offer a mobile gaming platform powered by Microgaming's Quickfire software.
Gaming on the MoveVirgin Casino will allow existing online casino account holders to access an extensive range of Microgaming games from their mobile smartphones. Of course, the Virgin Mobile Casino will also be available to new customers who choose to sign up.
The mobile site has been developed as a web application, enabling Virgin customers to reach the QuickFire games instantly. The site will include popular Microgaming online video slots like Thunderstruck, Tomb Raider.
Virgin Games did not say exactly when the mobile casino app would launch, but CEO Simon Burridge did say the company ultimately would like to provide a choice of games from a variety of providers.
Existing Online CasinoVirgin Games has several popular online gambling brands, including Virgin Casino, Virgin Poker and Virgin Bingo. All those brands are based on software provided by a range of companies.
Like its new mobile counterpart, Virgin Casino is easily accessible to customers through Flash, meaning you don't need to download a thing to play. The graphics and sound effects are superb and the game play seamless, and it's assumed the mobile casino will offer a similar standard.
