Voting Begins for British Poker Awards

Head online to cast your vote in this annual Poker in the Park awards night.

All the nominations are in and voting has begun for next month's annual British Poker Awards, being held in London as part of the largest free poker festival in Europe.

Big names make the cut

Some big names have made the cut for the 12 different awards, all of which are chosen by the people themselves. Categories for the big poker event include best online poker player, best cash game player and best international player, as well as best blogger, social media user and poker forum.

The candidates for each award were finalized on Monday, as chosen by a committee of representatives from Bluff Europe and Poker News, in addition to American poker commentator and player Jesse May.

One award, Player of the Year, will be selected by a special judging panel.

Vote now!

There are plenty of incentives to vote online for your favourite candidates. Excluding the thrill of participation, the British Poker Awards are offering one lucky voter the chance to win a seat in London's Palm Beach Casino's £300 weekly No Limit Hold'em Tournament.

With such a focus on internet and social media awards, it's no surprise that there are multiple ways to participate. You can cast your vote either by going straight to the British Poker Awards website, or by visiting the event's Facebook fan page.
