What Odds Ravens Defend Super Bowl Title?Published February 11, 2013 by OCR Editor
William Hill online sportsbook releases all the betting odds on next year's Super Bowl.
With Super Bowl XLVII only a couple of days behind us and the game, the half-time performance and the half-hour blackout still entrenched in our memory, odds have already been released for next year's big dance.
Can Ravens repeat?
The Baltimore Ravens defied William Hill's pre-season odds of 33/1 to win the NFL title with a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. According to a Hill spokesman, there were quite a few bets on the Ravens at those long odds and they were also heavily back on the big day.
Nevertheless, Hill has installed them as only 16/1 shots to go back-to-back, with beaten finalists the 49ers joining the Denver Broncos as 7/1 equal favorites to win Super Bowl XLVIII. For the first time, Hill have also opened a book on the star of next year's half-time show, with Beyonce's act a tough one to follow.
