Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki have ended the year as the world number one ranked players in men's and women's tennis, respectively, but can they continue their success in 2011?

Spaniard Nadal, who won the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open to overtake arch-rival Roger Federer on his way to the top, will aim to complete a historic "grand slam" when he takes to the court at the Australian Open in Melbourne in January.

In contrast, Danish star Wozniacki rose three places to number one in 2010 on the back of some consistent performances, despite failing to even make a grand slam final. Former world number one Serena Williams, who won both the Australian and French Opens, ended the season at number four.
