Will Tiger Top PGA in 2012?Published January 6, 2012 by OCR Editor
Online bookmakers install controversial golfer as their odds betting favorite.
As Tiger Woods enters his first full season of golf since returning from the sex scandal that nearly ruined his career, online bookmakers and punters alike are confident that he will return to his winning ways and dominate the sport once more. Can Tiger Top PGA?
William Hill Online is offering 3/1 odds that Tiger Woods tops the PGA Tour money list in 2012, putting him well ahead of his closest rival Rory McIlroy, 8/1, and current holder Luke Donald, who is in the third bracket at 9/1. All other contenders are 16/1 and over.
Tiger's odds could turn out to be very generous. The 14-time majors champion snapped a two-year drought last month when he won an 18-man charity event. It was his first victory since taking the 2009 Australian Masters, and since his sex scandal hit the headlines and interrupted his next two seasons of play.
Woods is 40/1 to win all four majors.Other 2012 Odds
