The 2013 Scottish Cup will be held on May 26 at Hampden Park between Celtic and Hibernian. These two teams haven't faced each other since 2001 when Celtic won the final match 3-0.
This new deal with the Scottish Football Association and William Hill is for a whopping seven-figure agreement which will take them all the way to 2016 before an additional renewal is needed. Kristof Fahy, William Hill's Chief Marketing Officer relates, "It's a great honor for us to be associated with the Scottish Cup and we're delighted to be in a position to extend our relationship with the oldest association trophy in world football. We're very excited about this new deal and look forward to working with the fans, clubs and the Scottish FA to make this great competition even bigger and better over the coming years."
You should watch out for some amazing lines on the final match with William Hill Sportsbook. As well as the lines for outright winner Hibernian 15/2 and Celtic 2/5, there are also a wide-array of Correct Score bets, First Scorer, Double Chance, and throughout the game in-play bets that will make the final more action-packed than ever.
The Scottish FA is also excited about this new extension with Chief Executive Stewart Regan saying, "We have been absolutely delighted with the partnership with William Hill and especially pleased that they have today reaffirmed their commitment to Scottish football by extending their contract as title sponsor of the Scottish Cup. It is fair to say it has been a partnership that has benefited the whole game and provided a real boost in profile and entertainment to our cup competition."
