Online betting provider has signed massive sponsorship deals in October.

Now that William Hill Online is back on track after resolving a staff dispute at its operations office in Tel Aviv, the British gambling giant has moved on to bigger things - being confirmed as the title sponsor of the 2011 Grand Slam of Darts.

World Cup of Darts

The William Hill Grand Slam of Darts, as it will be known, will feature 32 of the world's top dart players in a nine-day televised tournament from Wolverhamption. The winner will take home a £100,000 first prize on November 20.

Participants, including three-time winner Phil Taylor and reigning champ Scott Waites, will compete in eight four-man groups before proceeding to the knockout stages and then semi-final and final.

Big Sponsorship Deal

This is a big sponsorship deal for William Hill's online brand, with chief marketing officer Kristof Fahy calling it "one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world of darts," and saying it was "a privilege to put our name to such an event."

This is actually the second big sponsorship deal this month for the online betting provider, which earlier in October signed an agreement to become the exclusive sponsor of ESPN television coverage of several of European football top leagues.
