WSOP and 888poker have released new Android apps available for New Jersey players.
April saw the release of two new poker Android apps by WSOP poker room and 888poker for New Jersey players, after having promised the release of said apps back in December of last year. This makes the two poker rooms at par with partypoker which was the first to release an Android app back in February of this year; conversely, WSOP and 888poker were the first to launch iOS apps for NJ players when online gambling began in the state back in November 2013, with partypoker and Borgata following suit. Players have to download the apps directly from the operators' sites, due to a prohibition employed by Google Store on gambling apps.

The new apps from the two poker rooms are said to be very similar in nature. They allow for seamless depositing through mobile browser and quick and easy access to low and mid stakes cash games and Sit and Go tournaments and Multi Table tournaments which players can get into quickly without waiting too long in lobbies. Players are able to filter tournaments similarly to the way they are filtered on the poker room sites, with useful information regarding the tournaments like payout structures, buy-in info, standings and the likes.
Geolocation Gripes
Side to the overall positive impression of the new WSOP and 888poker Android NJ apps, users and reviewers have reported that geolocation services could take a long time, seeing that the app must verify that the user is inside NJ before granting access to online poker games. However, it is more than probable to believe that future updates will tend to issues of this nature.
