WSOP Qualifier with William Hill Poker

The 2009 World Series of Poker contest is fast becoming the most anticipated event of the year. With limited places and a considerable participation fee, the WSOP would appear to be the domain of poker's upper crust. But that's all about to change with William Hill's premier WSOP qualifier on Sunday, June 14, 2009.

Next stop, Vegas!
The iPoker WSOP is scheduled to take place at the Rio hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 3. William Hill Poker is offering over $500,000 in promotional funds for 40 lucky contestants. That's $13,000 each towards entry into the 2009 World Series of Poker. Fans of William Hill will notice that the new tournament will replace the regular $250,000 Guaranteed in favour of the $535 buy-in.

What's included?
Lucky contestants will be rewarded with $13,000 prize packages. These include the Main Event buy-in valued at $10,000; all registration fees, $1,900 for travel and sundries, plus the big one - seven nights stay at the grand Rio hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The benefits don't stop there; poker players can score points by winning entry into the $535 buy-in tourneys through the satellite competitions. For every $535 in the pool, one ticket to the 40 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Prize Package Guarantee will be awarded.

Not transferable
William Hill will be awarding the $520,000 in prize money to the 40 lucky winners of the promotional event scheduled for June 14. Each $13,000 winning prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Among others there are satellite tournaments to $1,500 No Limit Hold'em games and a $10,000 buy in for the Pot Limit Omaha Championship.
