Casual Connect Asia was established with the aim of providing iGaming professionals with a meeting ground where networking opportunities can be sought out. The next Casual Connect Asia has been scheduled to run from 12-14 November 2018 at the OCT Creative Exhibition Center, which is situated in Shenzhen, China.
Attendees will travel to Casual Connect Asia in order to attend days of lectures hosted by industry experts. The event will also present an expo area where attendees can meet with iGaming companies at the forefront of the industry. Further elements include the Indie Prize competition for developers and a number of networking parties.
As an annual event, Casual Connect Asia also runs an Indie Prize in which developers can compete by submitting their latest games. All entries are submitted to the Indie Prize Asia scholarship program, after which the judges select the various winners before revealing them at the Casual Connect Asia main event.
Game creators can also avail of the Casual Connect Mentorship Program, which pairs them an industry expert who is on hand to ask any questions. The Developer Showcase, meanwhile, provides an environment through which companies can build new relationships with likeminded developers from the iGaming industry.
Casual Connect Asia has previously attracted some of the foremost thinkers from the iGaming industry. In the past, delegates have been able to attend a variety of lecture topics, with some examples being the best practices of software studios, success stories of developers, analysis of successful games, and the annual Evil Game Design Challenge.
