The premise of Mines, an original Stake game based on Minesweeper, is very straightforward. You are presented with a 5x5 grid that hides gems and bombs. All you have to do is flip tiles over and hope that you land a gem and not a bomb. Revealing gems increase your payout while hitting a bomb loses the round. However, the game goes far deeper and allows you to alter your chances. Join us on this dive into online casino Mines to see exactly how you can get the most out of your Mines sessions.
Mines is very easy to play. All you have to do is set a bet amount and the number of mines that you want to exist on the grid. You can choose between 1 and 24 mines on the 25-tile playfield, with larger numbers of mines making multipliers increase in value.
You then have to click on a tile and hope that you land a gem. Every landed gem gets you a certain multiplier, while a mine ends your round. The number of tiles that you click on is entirely up to you, and you can cash out at any point. Note that the game features a Profit on Next Tile and Total Profit counters that help you make your next decision.
While other casino games have you choose between card hands, target multipliers, event combinations, and other betting options, Mines gives you a single yet perfect betting option. All you have to decide is how many mines you want to hide on the 25-tile grid. These tiles are placed completely at random, and revealing one mine immediately loses your wager. Note that higher numbers of mines mean higher multipliers but also higher risks.
Formulating a solid strategy for Mines is practically impossible because of how many possible scenarios there are. You can choose to hide up to 24 mines, which means that each round and each decision within each round has a different statistical chance of succeeding.
Things get even more complicated by the fact that there are no indicators or constants that you can rely on, such as a deck of cards in card counting. We, therefore, recommend that you do not use any strategy. The only exception could be a wager-focused strategy like the Martingale System, Fibonacci system, Labouchere system, or others.

No, it is not. The game is based entirely on probability, and the grid is set in stone the second that you click Bet.
It changes your overall risk and the value of individual multipliers.
No, you cannot. You can, however, understand the chances of your next click producing a mine.
That depends entirely on your tolerance for risk. Higher wagers mean higher potential rewards but also higher risks.
Mines is arguably the perfect game for beginners since it is very straightforward and does not require in-depth game knowledge.
