Apart from being heavily involved in the land-based gambling industry, the Jersey Gambling Commission is also responsible for overseeing remote gambling operations, including operations of online casinos and online sports betting sites. The regulatory body is also the main agency responsible for monitoring gambling venues that offer social and charitable gambling services. At the same time, the Government of Jersey is responsible for lotteries. 

For online casinos to be granted a remote gaming license from the Jersey Gambling Commission, operators need to submit their licensing application via an official form. The regulatory body issues an array of remote gambling licenses, including B2C and B2B licenses. Online casino content developers that wish to operate in this area are also required to obtain necessary permits according to the local gambling legislation.
