In other words, the Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority is also responsible for supervising the operation of all licensees to make sure they conduct operations according to the main gambling legislature.

The regulatory body is also responsible for supervising and validating all of the lottery draws and other gambling games when necessary. In addition, the regulatory body is in charge of developing new rules for the operations of lotteries and gaming facilities in the countries, ensuring that gambling winners get their money on time, and issuing licenses and permits to gambling companies that manufacture gaming devices and equipment.
