In 2001, the Oregon Lottery began to draw the lottery numbers for the Megabuck games with a computer and a random number generator instead for the traditional ball machine drum.

How to Play

Playing Megabucks is extremely simple.  All you need to do to win the jackpot is select the correct six numbers that are drawn from a set of 48. There are also prizes for matching between 5 and 3 of the winning numbers. You may also choose a Quick Pick where your six numbers are randomly generated by a computer. You get two sets of numbers for every $1 play.

The size of the Megabucks jackpot is determined by sales for that game. Therefore, Megabucks jackpot is increased by only $200,000 for each draw until the jackpot is fully funded.
