Inside the Excitement of South Africa's Powerball

The South Africa Powerball was launched in October 2009.  This Powerball is organized and run by the South Africa Lottery Administration.  This administration is the only lottery administrator and funder in the country.  Some of the revenues that are generated from this Powerball are used for public funds that are allocated to various programs in the country.  The South African Powerball offers the largest jackpot in the country and players also have a greater statistical possibility of winning than in other lotteries in South Africa.

Drawings for the South Africa Powerball are held bi-weekly, every Friday and Tuesday. 

How to Play

To get started with the South Africa Powerball, players need to choose 5 numbers between 1 and 45, as well as a Powerball number between 1 and 20.  The South Africa Powerball jackpot prize is won when a player correctly chooses all 5 regular numbers along with the Powerball number.
