Full Tilt Review

Review last updated on April 29, 2021

Full Tilt Poker once seemed down and out. But now one of the world's favorite online poker rooms is back, and it is opening its doors to players with old account who want to claim their funds and to potential new players who are rushing to see what all the hype of this relaunched poker site is about.

Full Tilt Relaunches

Full Tilt's grand reopening took place on November 6, giving existing customers access to to more than $184 million in funds that were left in accounts following the infamous Black Friday last year. Former rival PokerStars now owns and operates Full Tilt after its takeover was finalized in August following a deal with the US Department of Justice.

The long-awaited relaunch captured the imagination of the online poker playing public, with 22,000 players reportedly logging onto the site in the first hour of operations. And while the amount of traffic could reasonably expected to cause some problems, the relaunch seems to have gone smoothly so far.

The re-launch was accompanied by a range of celebratory promotions in the first few weeks, including a Deal Me In promo with $250,000 in freerolls. But if you missed out on the initial offers, don't despair, for this is a party that looks set to continue well into the foreseeable future.Until November 18, the Deal Me In "Ticket Sale" will discount ring game tickets by a minimum 20% and tournament tickets by minimum 15%. And the Happy Hour Week will feature a different game each day in which players can accumulate double Full Tilt Points.

The New FTP

FTP is back to offering most of the games and features that made it one of the top online poker sites on the web. These include different types of games and tournaments, its Rush Poker game, and an endless stack of promotions and offers such as Full Tilt Points. In addition, Full Tilt has added new double and triple chance tournaments, plus an "Add a Table" table in heads-up cash games and sit-n-go games which allows players to compete against the same opponent across multiple tables. And best of all, because of its partnership with PokerStars, Full Tilt is allowing players to transfer between the two sites with ease.
