What is the probability of actually winning the lottery?

It's so low. I heard that you have a better chance at getting hit with lighting then winning the lottery. I mean, while I don't know how true that is, it sort of rings true. I mean think about it, there are so many people who are playing, and it's so random that you really don't have that good a chance of winning it. That's why I've never played it.

Some people have the luck in raffle prizes, tournaments and lotteries. It would be nice to win a few dollars from the lottery. I keep on praying but I don't really buy tickets. How can I win?

Well, I've tried buying some lottery tickets before and just won a few dollars. But it's better than nothing, right?

It's so low. I would think that it's a couple million to 1. I don't know the exact figures, but it's very low. That's one reason why I don't play it. The chances of winning are so low that it's honestly not even worth it.

If they would be giving small prizes. I mean more smaller prizes, I think a lot of people would win. Just like when we had $1.5 billion as a prize. For only 1 winner? If they would divide it into let's say $10,000 each ticket holder, then I guess the probably is bigger than the reality.

the chances of winning the lottery may be minimal but it's worth a try! because at the end of the day someone will win it! and it could be you!
