Do they cheat players?

I have always wondered this since I started. I mean honestly it would make since since you aren't actually there to see what they are doing. I'm still pretty new to online gambling, so that's why I'm wondering. Are there maybe places that I should watch out for because they do this? I just want to make sure that I'm not going to places that are pretty much going to take my money from me. I want to go to places that will be legit.

That's a legitimate question for an online gambling beginner, but logic tells me that if the modus operandi of the industry was cheating players, it wouldn't exist for so long (since the mid 90s).
There have been and always will be I guess, rogue casinos that do these things, but this is the reason why we go to sites like OCR to see who's legit and good.

Check out casinos on the online casino reports homepage - I played at 3 of them with no problems (EU Casino, bet365, Jackpot City).

I would stick to the top 10 casinos listed on onlinecasinoreports, they are all legit and checked all the time

Good legit casinos are pretty transparent I think, yes there are more losers than winners, however that is the whole point of gambling.

I think, stick to the recommended casinos on here and you won't go wrong. I have been around enough to know that the good casinos are monitored and pride themselves in being fair.

I've thought of this before and I always try my best to be aware of each casino's guidelines. To be  on the safe side, I only try casinos if a friend recommended it or someone in a forum.

In terms of "cheating" customer then you are looking at two aspects:

1. rigged games; and

2. withholding finance

For 1 usually if you go with a casino that is regulated by UK, Malta, or Gibraltar (look at the footer of the site) then you're going to be okay. These have to have their software and games tested by independent companies like NMI, iTech, eCogra, GLI etc...

In my point of view, a certain rogue online casino wouldn't last several years. This is because expert players would figure it out that they are being cheated. Eventually, complaints would arise hence, those shut down casinos. Good luck.
