Guide to La Boule Roulette

Learn how to play the exciting game of La Boule Roulette, a French variant of Roulette!
Roulette has always been a popular casino table game and there are many variations of it, including La Boule Roulette. La Boule Roulette is similar to traditional roulette and it is particularly popular in France. While there are similarities between La Boule and standard roulette, the games are not entirely the same. With this guide, you can learn the basic rules of La Boule Roulette.
Rules of La Boule Roulette
You begin by placing a bet on a number or a set of numbers just as you would in standard roulette. However, the numbers and the La Boule wheel are slightly different. Unlike a standard American Roulette wheel that has 38 numbers (1 through 36 plus 0 and 00), a La Boule wheel has 36 numbered slots that are coloured black, red or yellow. The numbers range between 1 and 9 which means every number appears 4 times on the wheel. The bets are similar to roulette as players can bet on colours, high (6 through 9), low (1 through 4), odds, evens or single numbers. The number 5 is the yellow slot and it is similar to the 0 and 00 in standard roulette except the odds are more favourable.
Odds of the Game
On every bet that is placed on La Boule Roulette, the house has an edge of 11.11%. For single number bets, the odds are 7 to 1. On even and odd number bets the odds are 1 to 1. For low and high bets the odds are 1 to 1. The odds on red and black bets are 1 to 1 too. As you can see, the betting is more simplistic in La Boule which makes it easier for beginners to play.
