The last Grand Slam tournament of the year in professional tennis is underway and all eyes are on New York to see which of today's tennis greats will hoist this year's trophy. Round one action was exceptionally good this year but there were no real upsets up until now. Today's match could be the upset everyone is waiting to see and punters are waiting to capitalize on as Wawrinka, the number 3 seed in the tournament takes on Bellucci. Tale of the tape Stanislas Wawrinka is a big and strong Swiss player that has a real chance at doing well at this year's US Open. He defeated Czech prospect Jiri Vesely 6-2, 7-6(6), 7-6(3). Wawrinka looked excellent in the round one action and looks to try and beat the Brazilian, Bellucci today at Arthur Ashe stadium. Surprisingly, it is Bellucci that defeated Wawrinka back in 2009, but much has changed since then. It was only a few weeks ago that Wawrinka defeated Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open to win his first grand slam. Thomaz Bellucci, the left-hander from Brazil became a pro in 2005 and is currently ranked 91 in the world in men's singles. He was ranked as high as 21 back in 2010 but has since struggled to make it any further than a Quarter Finals loss in 2013 at the Australian Open. Bellucci is a strong and exciting player to watch and he could be the wild card bet, as he leads the series with Wawrinka 1-0. Live In-Play Action Winner Sports has the live in-play markets for all of the US Open second round matches including today's game. Prior markets show Wawrinka as the outright favorite 1.10 to Bellucci's 6.50. There are tons of markets available including Games Handicap, Set Winner, Over/Under and more. For one of the most exciting online gambling experiences, there is also live in-play betting which are an interactive way to make lucrative cash as the match unfolds. Don't miss out on any of the US Open as it is the last Grand Slam before the off-season. Get your tennis fix today at 14:15.
An official states' rights organization has called on the federal government to respect the decisions of states to adopt and regulate online gambling, despite a federal movement to ban the controversial subject outright. NCSL Advocates States' Right to Choose In the annual business meeting of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), the Standing Committee on Budgets and Revenue released a list of policy resolutions around a prevailing theme of states’ rights to promote public interests such as public pensions, taxes and health care. The last section squarely addressed states' rights to online gaming stating that “the federal government must respect the sovereignty of states to allow or to prohibit Internet gambling by its residents...” Online Poker in Cali Legislative Proposal Coming Back Next year's legislative sessions represent a new opportunity for California lawmakers to formally consider regulation of online poker. Assemblyman Reginald Byron-Jones Sawyer Sr. has prioritized the submission of a new online poker bill for the the 2015/2016 legislative session. The last online poker bill that Jones-Sawyer introduced, was apparently too complicated. According to OnlinePokerReport, AB 2291 was withdrawn due to the fact that “the Department of Justice and the California Gaming Commission did not have enough time to review the language and make relevant recommendations” on the bill's proposed regulatory structure. Adapted Language and Core Issue Focus Required The main obstacle in the state Senate to passage seems to be overemphasis of “bad actor” language designed to prevent online operators from operating in California before regulation. Georgia Leads State Opposition US Senator Lindsey Graham is the leader of the movement in federal Congress to pass legislation banning online gambling at the federal level, a blanket ban which includes the popular and long-standing state lotteries as well. The first state to offer its lottery play online is Georgia, with state benefits experienced from the increased proceeds spurring that state to become a leading voice opposing any proposed federal bans. The state claims it has raised over $6 million for its education fund and other state interests since the launch of online lottery ticket sales. Online Gaming Revenues in Delaware Dwindle According to the Delaware lottery, the state's three online gambling operators (Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway) took in $173,096.40 in wagering revenues in June, with $31,397.57 of that figure coming from online poker. This was only slightly lower than the entire $187,000 take for Delaware state Internet gaming revenue overall. Since initiating online gaming in November 2013, Delaware's best month for I-gaming was April, with revenues of $240,762.63. Online poker peaked in December, with a take of $106,922.76 for the state. April’s overall I-gaming revenue of $240,762.63 is the best so far.
Odobo Games has managed to finish summer by concluding a distribution deal with Unibet, an online gambling operator publicly listed on the Nordic Stock Exchange. The deal was struck as a means for Odobo to increase its presence in Nordic gaming markets along with some in Northern Europe. Unibet’s geographic should prove to be pivotal in successfully realising those goals. Unibet European Presence In total, Unibet has users situated in more than 100 countries. Odobo will now have access to users registered with Unibet sites serving markets in the UK, Denmark, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Estonia, and more. This deal will give Odobo the opportunity to increase the presence of its brand and develop a name within the global gaming industry. Rapid Deployment Multiple deals are struck throughout the course of a typical year in the online gambling industry. Most commonly, deals outline extended implementation periods that can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. For this deal, however, Odobo is in a position where it can distribute its games simultaneously across all supported markets and jurisdictions. Going Mobile with HTML5 Unibet will also benefit considerably from the deal, as the operator will be able to unveil a new collection of mobile games developed for HTML5 browsers. Such widespread compatibility will ensure that a multitude of users will be able to access standout mobile games such as Beat the Croupier, Gold Dice, Oddventurers, and Poker Drop Riches. Beneficial for All Parties The Unibet deal marks the formation of yet another high-profile agreement for Odobo in 2014, following new ventures with bet365 and Betfair. Julian Jarvis of Odobo is happy for the hard-working developers serving the company, while Daniel Eskola of Unibet is pleased to be working with such a diverse software developer. Unibet players will, of course, have more games to enjoy.
Although Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware have all chosen to legalise online gambling for their residents. Players from those US states have encountered problems when it comes to performing financial transactions. Credit cards have caused the most trouble, thus far, with vendors refusing to process payments to online gambling operators. In response, US online gamblers are now turning to digital wallets as a solution. Accepted by New Jersey Casino Sites Skrill is the biggest brand in the gambling market for digital wallets, with the payment method holding transmissions licenses in all US. Notably, Skrill also has approval with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) for processing online gambling payments within the state. European Dominance Joe Hall, vice president of Skrill in the US, is targeting a “99% penetration rate” in an attempt to achieve the high level of prevalence the payment method has in Europe. However, there is a PayPal-shaped barrier in the way of Skrill increasing its presence in the US. PayPal currently boasts more than 150 million global users. US Growth Strategy DGE approval represented the first phase of two. The rationale was to provide New Jersey residents with a reliable payment method that would be accepted by online gambling operators in the state. Phase two is much wider, entailing the customisation of the brand’s pitch for US customers. This phase will be much more challenging as it will bring Skrill into direct competition with PayPal. PayPal to Return Outside of the US, PayPal is a widely accepted form of payment among online gambling operators. Inside the US, however, PayPal had long been absent from the market due to its illegal status. But now that three states legally allow online gambling, PayPal is set for a return to the market. Chris Kfrafcik of Gambling Compliance announced in August that PayPal was in discussions with the New Jersey DGE to complete a deal.

Yggdrasil Part of Success A part of the positive turnover in Cherry's online gaming business is attributed to software developer Yggdrasil to which Cherry serves as a parent company. Cherry CEO Sunvisson said that in 2014 alone Yggdrasil delivered four unique slots and signed 14 agreements. Catering to 15 different online casinos with six different operators, the company opened an office in Gibraltar. Round 2 of the Men's Singles continues today in the US Open with a very intriguing match set to take place 4pm UK time between Roger Federer and world No. 104 Samuel Groth. Fastest Serve of All-time Hailing from Australia, Groth holds a terrifying unofficial world record for having hit a crazy 163 mph first serve back in May 2012 at a South Korea Challenger. Groth impressively blasted past Albert Ramos-Vinolas from Spain in straight sets 7-3, 7-6(5), 6-3 without facing not one single break point during the match. Talking about his upcoming match against the 17-times Grand Slam champion Federer, the 26-year old Groth said it is going to be the biggest moment of his career so far, a dream coming true. Groth's higher ranking was 92 when he won a Challenger earlier this year; he reached two other Challenger finals and made his Wimbledon debut this year, losing in round one. Federer a Strong Favorite The 33-year old Federer came to New York with a 20-2 win-loss record since the French Open. He was beat in the Canadian Open final but then took the Cincinnati Open, also appearing at the Wimbledon finals and losing to Novak Djokovic. Federer already faced an Australian in the first round when he beat Marinko Matosevic 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(4). The match received wide media coverage due to the presence of former NBA all-star Michael Jordan as a spectator. In-play Betting Online sportsbook bet365 is covering this game live and in to win match it is offering 22/1 on Samuel Groth and 1/80 on Roger Federer; it's a no-brainer and Federer is clearly the favorite, but a sensation could happen and it would be worth a lot for a risky punter. Don't miss this match and log-in bet365 Sports today for a spicy tennis wager.
Tropezia is always among the first online casinos to feature new Net Entertainment releases and the latest video slot to be added to the list is Attraction™. This keeps the same modern style on which NetEnt has built an entire collection recently but offers an electric theme which is sure to get players buzzing with excitement. Attraction™ has five reels, three rows and ten lines, making it a simple option for Tropezia Palace customers but its extra features make it one of the most exciting video slots on the internet. Between, the Wild symbol, the Magnet feature, the Sticky Magnets and the Re-Spins, there is always something happening. The game is nothing like a regular slot where the reels just spin and nothing really changes. An Interesting Theme To Enjoy The theme of new video slots is very important and Attraction™ comes with a laboratory filled with gadgets to help measure the attraction of the magnets. There are five colorful symbols to fit this description and they can award up to 500 coins. Some of the other symbols are cards, from 10 to King, but they have been styled to fit the overall theme of the game. The graphics and the animations make the game hugely entertaining and it all starts with the elevator trip down to the underground secret lab. The Magnet Feature Attraction™ comes with a special feature known as Magnet. This is activated when starting a spin and will award a re-spin with at least one Sticky Wild if a Wild symbols stops on the same line as the magnet. For re-spins, the game has two active magnets for maximum attraction and also for additional ways to get Sticky Wilds and really go for the big combos which pay hundreds of coins. An Autoplay feature allows users to let the reels spin for several rounds, with the options to make it stop at certain levels.
Sportsbet operator Ladbrokes has enhanced its mobile sports product with the introduction of a football accumulator tracker empowering customers to monitor the progress of all events they have bet on according to single-line football odds. My Accas Ultimate Update My Accas updates players in real time by displaying live score updates to each single line multiple which a player has bet on to bring them up to date on current status of each match that the customer has bet on. Another in a growing list of mobile enhancements by the bookmaker, Ladbrokes Mobile and Device Director Andrew BagguleyBagguley characterized the empowering of customers to track their football accumulators in real time as a “real step-change” for the industry: “My Accas is another industry-first for Ladbrokes on mobile, after the introduction of the fixed price Yes/No coupon to digital platforms in the summer.” In-Play Betting Among New Mobile User Capabilities Bagguley also praised the market switcher feature that Ladbrokes has added to support customers in building and customising their football score accumulators, and pointed out how this has enabled the incorporation of in-play betting to further increase the engagement and betting options for Ladbrokes mobile players. These latest enhancements update successful platform features introduced at the end of the previous football season, with Bagguley specifying live visualisations, enhanced scoreboards and timelines as enhancements from that time period spurring further growth. The Power of Mobile My Accas specifically targets mobile growth, and Ladbrokes these days sees the mobile sports book as the “engine” fueling its overall online growth, in keeping with the new relevance of mobile devices to the online gaming landscape. For the first half of 2014, Ladbrokes reported an increase in mobile wager volume of a whopping 114% year-on-year to increase the percentage of total sports take to 46%, or almost half. This has rendered the desktop version of Ladbrokes online wagering service to complementary status, supporting but not leading online growth. Mobile adaptation is clearly the competitive challenge atop the to-do list of all online gaming providers today.
