Scan Safe, the web security firm, has recently detected a 40 percent rise in US based requests for online casino sites, despite legislation that was recently passed by President George W. The Poker Players Alliance is a non-profit organization, which hopes to push the Congress to overturn this legislation. "I was concerned about keeping balances of money in sites that might be subject to regularity restrictions," he said.
