Favorite Movies?

What is your all time favorite movie, and why? I would have to say that mine is Jurassic Park. I have loved it since I was a little girl. I would watch it all the time with my grandma and I would pretty much watch it everyday. I'm sure that it was pretty overkill for her, but she would still watch it with me all the time. And now, I still love sitting down and watching them all because they are good. But the first one is the best. I think that the reason that I pretty much loved the movie so much was because I have always loved dinosaurs. So, what is your favorite?

The Third Man, 1949. Orson Welles in a post-war Vienna, what more could you need?

Before Sunrise, 1995. Vienna in a lighter note, most romantic film ever - simply makes you want to fall in love.

Blade Runner, 1982. Thought-provoking masterpiece with the magic of Vangelis as the original soundtrack.

Play It Again Sam, 1972. Hard to pick a Woody Allen favorite but this one comes close...

Commando, 1985. Best 80's action movie in my book, and an unforgettable performance from Arnie coupled with that special soundtrack from James Horner.

Taxi Driver, 1976. One of the defining movies of 1970s America for me, and De-Niro shines here. So sad and beautiful.

The Boys from Brazil, 1978. Such an underrated gem! Nazi Hunter Laurence Olivier fights Gregory Peck (Dr. Mengele) - stellar performances by both actors - two from the golden age of Hollywood.

Come and See (Idi I Smotri), 1985. One of the best films ever made, a must-watch for every human being, needs to be screened in schools all over the world to prevent future wars.

Too many to mention! I like Leaving Las vegas, Moulin Rouge, Trainspotting, Before sunrise/sunset (as mentioned above) ... a mixed bag

I love Marvel movies, as well as Harry Potter and Twilight movies. 

My most favorite are Armageddon, A Walk To Remember and Independence Day. They still make me cry even after watching them a zillion times

One of my favorite movies is 
The Remains of the Day. 
I watched that maybe over forty times in my life and still mesmerized by that film.Such exquisitely made and refined in its acting, direction, music, scenery, and heartfelt story.

There are too many to list, but I think the ones I love the most are the oldest Star Wars trilogy and The Winter Soldier.

I really like the entire series of the Star Warriors movie (well, except for the last one, to be honest, it would be better if they didn’t touch and didn’t do any further films). Like the film's atmosphere and effects. I also liked the video where everything was told how to do such effects on time. I will tell you that it is very inventive.

My fav is To All the Boys I've Loved  I think the story is original and very creative, I would never dream of making letters and keeping them. I used to write in my diaries, but the story of the film caught me completely for being so much fun and a little different from I would have done. Plus I love Noah and his movies
