Retired Coast Guard officer buys boat with $286K jackpot win at Slotland

Patience paid off for a Slotland player who struck it rich with a $286,206 jackpot win on their Leprechaun Luck slot. John W., a retired Coast Guard and shipping company employee, says he’s going to use his winnings to buy a boat and be captain of his own ship.

“Just goes to show that you never know what the next spin will bring!” said Slotland manager Michael Hilary.  “Our jackpot seems to be hit a little less often but for much bigger amounts than in the old days.
