Online Casino Delivers Huge Jackpot to Italian

Italy has been one of the big stories of the online gambling world this year, and now it was all being put into practice rather than just words as an Italian player hit a massive jackpot at Windows Casino. The Incredible Italian Hulk (-ette?) Guiseppina V. can now consider herself a very lucky woman after hitting the jackpot on the the Incredible Hulk online video slot at Windows Casino, which was worth around $24,000 at the time. Incredibly, she didn't actually hit any of the four Marvel progressive jackpots on her way to the win but actually got lucky playing the free spins. In a way, this backs up her preference for this particular slot - which is one of the most popular games at the Playtech-powered online casino. 100 Slot Games Incredible Hulk is just one of the great slot games on offer at Windows Casino, whose selection also includes a variety of games in categories as diverse as classic slots, video slots, multi-spin slots, progressive slots, and of course the fan-favorite Marvel Comics themed slots. One of the veteran Playtech online casinos with 12 years experience behind it, the casino is powered by Playtech and offers its services in Italian and several other European languages.

Phil Ivey vs Full Tilt Poker

Could this be the start of a new trend amongst poker professionals? Former Full Tilt Poker pro Phil Ivey has spoken out about the failure to repay funds to the poker room's customers in the aftermath of Black Friday and has revealed that he has filed a lawsuit against the company. Ivey Speaks Out In a statement released on Tuesday, Ivey said he regretted having to speak out, but that he could not remain silent while the pockets of poker players around the US were affected. "I am deeply disappointed and embarrassed that Full Tilt players have not been paid money they are owed. I am equally embarrassed that as a result many players cannot compete in the tournament and have suffered economic harm," the eight-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner said, adding that in protest he would not play in the upcoming WSOP. Ivey also confirmed in the statement that he had "electronically filed a lawsuit against Tiltware related to the unsettled player accounts." Full Tilt Under Fire Criticism has been growing in the online gambling community against Full Tilt Poker, which stands accused of failing to communicate with players over the process of returning player funds, as opposed to rival online poker room PokerStars. The chiefs of both poker rooms were among 11 people indicted by US prosecutors in New York on April 15 over illegal gambling and other federal charges, and their domain names were temporarily confiscated. Full Tilt says it has no timeline for repayment of player funds but says its poker pros cannot go public because of legal constraints.

Which Progressive Slot Paid £1.5 Million?

British online casino Ladbrokes has delivered one of the biggest progressive slot jackpots in recent months, with a massive £1.5 million win on Microgaming's King Cashalot video slot at the end of the Royal Wedding weekend. That's A Lot Of Cash! The progressive jackpot was won when a Ladbrokes online customer hit five straight King symbols on a pay line after making the maximum bet possible on the five-reel, nine-payline King Cashalot video slot game. As is customary with online video slot jackpot wins, the player actually won the grand prize one month ago on May 2, but the announcement was held back to allow for all the transactions details to be completed. Microgaming Pays Out More Mike Hebden, who heads the casinos division for online gaming software provider Microgaming, said his firm still holds the record for the biggest jackpot win ever, when a Greek man named Georgios M. struck a €6.37 million payout at Belle Rive online casino. He said that Microgaming powered casinos have paid out €285 million since the progressive network was first launched many years ago, and added: "I am delighted that the progressive jackpot network has created another millionaire. It is so exciting when this happens and I am extremely proud that the player is paid out in one single payment."

Another US Poker Site Shuts Operations

In a surprising twist-of-fate, Victory Poker has been effectively hamstrung by the after-effects of Black Friday. This once popular online poker room recently posted an announcement on its landing page to the effect that, "Victory Poker has moved its international player database over to Cake Poker... Victory Poker will continue forward as an affiliate site providing news, strategy, videos, and reviews." The Present State of Online Poker in the USA Black Friday - the day the online poker world in the US stood still, has resulted in massive fallout for poker players and online sites. The joint FBI, US DoJ seizure and shutdown of immensely popular online poker sites has sent shockwaves through a poker-crazed nation. The big three were humbled - Poker Stars, FullTilt and Absolute Poker. As was UltimateBet and others. The indictments 'cease, desist and shutdown' orders against these poker sites and casinos virtually ensured that more indictments would follow. And now news has broken that 10 additional online gaming sites have been seized and shut down. The Future of Victory Poker In the wake of the crushing indictments of Black Friday (April 1515) across the US, Victory Poker - a relative greenhorn in the poker realm - has opted to call it a day. The shock announcement has left scores of players scratching their heads. With the severity of Black Friday marring the future prospects of online poker in the US, Victory Poker's CEO Dan Fleyshman has called it quits. But the news isn't all bad for online poker aficionados, because Victory Poker will continue to operate as a news, reviews and affiliate marketing site for the massive Cake Poker network. Additionally, it will serve as a poker strategy site - for players' benefit. This news certainly doesn't bode well for US online poker players, but it ensures that the Victory Poker brand will remain on the air, albeit for different purposes. Benefits of the Switch to Cake Poker Victory Poker players now have their accounts at Cake Poker (including tourney tickets, Gold Cards, Gold Chips and existing bankrolls). News, reviews, videos and strategy will be showcased on the new Victory Poker affiliate site. Victory Poker players will receive a 100% reload bonus and all players yet to deposit (from VictoryPoker) will receive a 110% signup bonus and a $500 depositor's freeroll ticket. The Victory Poker network utilized the expertise of Antonio Esfandiari and the Everleaf Poker Network to popularize its offerings. But it's the migration to the massive Cake Poker network that will enhance the new-look poker room and boost online player numbers.

Wimbledon Sportsbook Odds Not surprisingly, Rafa starts the tournament at 2/1, ahead of Novak Djokovic, 9/4, who was undefeated all year before falling to Roger Federer in the French Open semis. Six-time Wimbledon winner Federer, the most successful player of all time at the tournament, was cut from 7/2 to 5/2 after making the final at Roland Garros, while local hero Andy Murray is the best of the rest at 6/1. In the ladies singles, Maria Sharapova, 3/1, leads Kim Clijsters and Serena Williams, 4/1, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki, 6/1, and French Open champ Na Li, 7/1. William Hill Sports is offering plenty of novelty betting options as usual, such as 8/1 on no rain over the two weeks, and 6/1 on a streaker on the court during one of the singles finals.
