In some very good news for the regulating US market, the states of Delaware and Nevada signed an agreement to allow residents from both states to play online poker together in virtual tables. This unprecedented pact was signed by Delaware Governor Jack Markell and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval on Tuesday. According to the agreement, local online poker operators will be allowed to open their games for players from both states and the revenue will be distributed evenly depending on the location of the players who generated the rake. The players would need to be physically present in either state to participate, regardless of where they live. It has been said that the agreement will give both states the ability to create a larger marketplace, adding to the player liquidity on which online poker sites rely.
