The plight for online poker regulation in California has received a very important boost last week with the extension of a partnership between the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians tribe and Canadian software developer Amaya Gaming. Door Might Open for Other Tribes The San Manuels were a part of the tribal anti online poker coalition but now they've switched sides standing alongside Amaya, Morongo Band of Mission Indians and the three major poker rooms. This could turn the tide for other tribes as we near December when an online poker bill for the Garden State will be introduced. Speaking about the move, San Manuel chairwoman Lynn Valbuena said: "We are convinced that the various interests must work together if we are to be successful in establishing a well-regulated environment and the best-in-class Internet poker industry for California."
