New Bill Would Allow Online Parlay Betting in Delaware

Delaware, one of the three states to legalize online gambling, is seeking to expand upon what operators are allowed to offer. Last week, State Senator Brian Bushweller filed SB183, a bill that would allow licensed online gambling operators to add parlay betting to their sites. Licensed operators include online casinos, poker rooms and lotteries.  Senator Bushweller's bill would also tax online gambling revenue at the same rate that land-based gambling revenue is taxed - a rate that the bill would lower. Additionally, the bill would get rid of a table game franchise fee and cut the table revenue tax rate from 29% to 20%. Bushweller anticipates that the changes made by his proposed bill will initially cost the state $13 million in the first year, but on the other hand, it will offer casino owners a substantial incentive to grow their table operations to the point that revenue from table games will offset the initial cost. The bill is currently being reviewed by Delaware’s Senate Finance Committee. The Dilemma of Delaware Online Gambling Senator Bushweller's bill comes at a crucial time, at a time when Delaware’s online gambling has seen much better days. Calvin Ayre reports that the state’s total online gambling revenue in 2015 amounted to a measly $1.8 million, a 14% decrease from the total online gambling revenue in 2014. In short, Delaware needs a boost to its online gambling, and parlay betting, along with cutting table revenue tax, seems like a viable option. What is Parlay Betting? A parlay bet is a single bet that links together two or more individual bets, all of which are dependent on the other. This means that if one of the bets loses, the whole parlay loses, and all need to win in order to cash out. While these bets are risky, they are also quite popular, because players have the potential to win much higher payouts from parlay bets than from individual bets.

Celebrate the Year of the Monkey with Chinese-Themed Slots

Sometimes, good things do come to those who wait and February is the time to celebrate the Chinese New Year. There’s no better way for slot machine fans to get fully immersed into the festive spirit of this holiday, than by playing three newly released Chinese-themed slots. The year of the Monkey is upon us and by playing these well paying slot machines, fans of the genre can start it on the right foot. Wishing You Fortune Hits WMS Casinos The name of the slot machine speaks for itself and WMS is hell-bent on making players rich, since Wishing You Fortune has 1024 winning combinations. The software developer has created a great looking slot, with free spin bonus rounds and a special Fortune Reel feature. Moon Games Casino is one of the places where players can enjoy the Chinese-themed slot machine and hundreds of other games compatible with mobile devices. Playtech Unveils Its Celebrate Wu Long Slot Another game dedicated to the Chinese New Year and introduced at the beginning of the month, Wu Long can now be played at EuroGrand Casino. The game draws inspiration from some of the Playtech classic slot machines, but brilliantly captures the fragrance of the Chinese holiday. What makes it stand out from the crowd is that the same sign acts as both scatter and wild symbol, therefore triggering free spins and multipliers. Get Immersed into the Dragon Dance Microgaming’s newest creation goes by the name of Dragon Dance, an energetic slot machine that can be played at All Slots Casino. In addition to the wild and scatter symbols, the reels are populated by symbols of fortune and power, as well as ones acting as wards against bad luck. There is no shortage of free spins and players enjoy more control over the outcome of each game, as they are allowed to respin any of the five reels.

Rio Ave Braces for 90 Minutes Siege in Lisbon Against Sporting

Sporting Lisbon is dominating the domestic championship, but its advantage over the main rivals has been reduced to just a couple of points. Porto is still five points behind them, but Benfica is within striking distance and this makes the match against Rio Ave even more important. The visitors are highly motivated ahead of this fixture, since they are still chasing a Europa League berth and need as many points as they can get on the road. Fatigue Catches up with Sporting Lisbon The home side is riding a three-game winning streak, but these victories were narrow margin ones and many goals were scored in the final minutes of the game. Compared to the manner in which they won matches in 2015, this new routine suggests that they are vulnerable against defensive minded teams. Way too often, Sporting was unable to find its way to the opposing net even when playing at home. The head to head record is crushing and the fact that the hosts won 21 games out of a total of 33 speaks volumes. Furthermore, Sporting won the last four games against Rio Ave, yet on three occasions the victories were decided by the odd goal. Rio Ave Ends Winless Run The visitors managed to win their first game in 2016 and even though they are hoping for back-to-back victories, Rio Ave would gladly settle for one point. The starting formation features a single striker, while the backline has been reinforced to accommodate five footballers. Guedes is expected to be the only forward player, after he managed to score 4 goals this season, but Rio Ave has a potent midfield. In fact, these players have scored more goals combined than the strikers, so Sporting defensemen should watch out. Punters should mitigate the risks by betting at even odds on fewer than 3 goals to be scored, knowing that bet365 Sports will refund the stakes if we have exactly 3 goals.

The entire production was one of the best in history. Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Bruno Mars and of course the Denver Broncos all came out as winners. Broncos Beat the Odds The Broncos were able to beat the odds, as their defense led them to an at times shaky victory. Peyton Manning, now 39 years old has won his second Super Bowl in what could be his last game ever. Linebacker Von Miller was awarded MVP, the 10th defensive player to win the honor.  Reports are saying  that Super Bowl 50 reached the highest number of viewers via live streaming in its history. bet365 saw a major rise in live in-play bets from punters all over the world and undoubtedly, many of those streaming would've been making bet365's in-play markets. Punters that made pre-game bets on a Broncos victory took home a 2.85 payday, as offered by bet365 Sports.   To watch the performance, use the YouTube link itself.

A New AGA Election Guide Ensures the Voice of Online Gaming Will be Heard

The Presidential elections are coming, and the American Gambling Association has taken it upon itself to make sure that all the right people are informed. Voter Guide The AGA has released its first-ever voter guide to inform the nearly one-million gaming employees about the presidential candidates and their stances gambling. The guide includes voting information on participation such as when to vote, where to vote and how to register, which is relevant not just to the gaming stakeholders, but any member of the US voting public. Gaming Votes Initiative The guide is part of the initiative Gaming Votes which the AGA launched last year to inform the candidates themselves in an effort to ensure full awareness by all Presidential candidates on the value of gaming to the states when effectively regulated. Statistics in the guide point out how in key battleground and early vote states the gaming industry supports over half-a-million jobs and generates $75 billion in economic activity. AGA Goal The AGA is committed to targeting all specific groups and stakeholders at this point so that politicians, employees, casino operators, and players can all participate in making online gambling work in the US and increase revenues for the many currently cash-starved and/or debt-ridden states while bringing safe and fulfilling gaming experiences to meet the wide demand that exists. Individual Positions Revealed Regulation of gaming is not a partisan issue but a matter of individual policy stance. Of course, some candidates are obviously in favor of online gambling, such as megacasino owner Donald Trump and New Jersey Governor Doug Christie, who has shepherded regulated gaming in his state to early success and state benefits. A chart in the guide provides the positions of all candidates, in alphabetical order, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, for which there currently exists no record of his stance or activity. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, the chart reveals opposed casinos in Arkansas as First Lady in the 80's but softened her stance running for Senator in New York in 2000 by saying she would leave it up to the citizens to decide if they felt that casinos was the way towards economic recovery. Educate Yourself All information will go a long way towards informing and empowering all voters for the future of online gambling in the US.

FA Cup Fourth Round: West Ham vs Liverpool

West Ham and Liverpool are no strangers. They have faced one another countless times and this will be their second FA Cup meeting, with the first ending in a scoreless draw at Anfield a few weeks ago. The winner of tonight's match will go to face Blackburn in the fifth round on February 21. West Ham will need to find a way to win without their strong defender James Tomkins, out with a calf injury. The Irons will be playing Joey O'Brien again at right-back, due to Sam Byram being cup-tied and other right-back Carl Jenkins is out for the season. Liverpool will have three of their top players back after healing from injuries and the Reds should surely play Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi. Liverpool has been inconsistent under Jurgen Klopp, but they do have the ability to beat West Ham. "I feel good and I am back in the race," related Klopp ahead of tonight's match. West Ham have not yet beaten Liverpool in seven total FA Cup meetings. The Hammers have lost four and have drawn three times. Those losses were in the past and more recently, West Ham have won three of their last five meetings with the Reds over all competitions including a 2-0 victory in January. FA Cup Betting Bet365 Sports is offering full live in play coverage over tonight's FA Cup match-up. The outright odds are so close they are really not in either team's favor. West Ham are at 2.60, while Liverpool trail at 2.90. A draw, at 3.40 could be a smart bet with both teams coming in with the desire to win. Pre-match Correct Score markets are the best bet with the most potential for high payout, and when mixed with live in play markets offered throughout the match, makes for bigger payouts and much more interactive action.

Nevada Reports New Record for Super Bowl 50 Bets

It was a great day for punters that bet on the Broncos in the underdog position prior to Super Bowl 50. American bettors had a great opportunity to win lucrative cash from legal online sports betting in Nevada and over 40 million of them did so over the weekend. Nevada-based sportsbooks took in a record of $132.5 million in wagers, with the Broncos a 5.5-point underdog. Many punters decided to put their money on Cam Newton for Super Bowl MVP, but those that bet on defensive MVP Von Miller received incredible 12-1 odds. The majority of gamblers bet heavily on a Panthers win, weeks before the game. A few days before the main event however, the bets became to pour in for the Broncos. For sportsbooks, the best outcome would have been a Panthers victory, but not being able to cover the spread. There are currently 194 sportsbooks in Nevada, and their win profits would have been somewhere around $13.3 million, or 10% of the $132.5 in total bets. The new record beats the one set two years ago at Super Bowl 49, in which the Seahawks beat the Broncos. This is a good indicator of profits that other states could see if online gambling legislature was to change in the US in the future.  Presidential Wager President Obama appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert after the game and he stated that he not only watched the game, he also placed a bet on the action. The President did not specify for which team or the amount he bet, but when asked if he knew that gambling outside of Nevada, New Jersey or Delaware was illegal, Obama simply said, “I’m the president. I hereby pardon myself.” Bets on the next Super Bowl are already posted on leading bookmakers’ sites with the Panthers and Patriots as early favorites. Now is a great time to bet on next year’s winner as the odds will undoubtedly get progressively smaller as trades and the season gets started.
