What's your favorite TV shows and why?

There has been an influx of good high quality TV shows in the past few years, so my list is really long. Some of my all time favorites are:

  • The Wire - Realistic and gritty, gripping.
  • OZ - Fantastic ensemble of actors, doesn't take prisoners, brutally enchanting.
  • Breaking Bad - Very well done - direction-wise, fantastic actors alongside Bryan Cranston's tour-de-force show.
  • Ray Donovan - Very smart show with great actors like Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber who should totally get an Emmy.
  • Boardwalk Empire - So much investment was put into recreating the 1920s and the setting of Atlantic City - this and seeing Steve Buscemi in a very interesting role.
  • The Larry Sanders Show - I miss this show so much, criminally underrated...
  • Curb your Enthusiasm - Larry David manages to make dull life situations into epic comedies.
  • Homicide: Life on the Streets - Gritty 90s detective show, who needs more?
  • Game of Thrones - Never read a page in any of the books but the show is just really well made.

I'm also watching Fargo, the second season just began, it's really interesting but I can't crown it as an all-time favorite yet, have to see how the second season goes through.

So what's your favorites?

I also love the Walking Dead, and I loved Breaking Bad while it was on. That's pretty much my all time favorite show. I just love to see how much Walt changes from the end to the beginning. I mean it's a pretty remarkable change. And if you ask me, it's a pretty scary one, because he really got into make the meth and just kept wanting more and more money. But otherwise some other shows that I like are American Horror Story, I'm not sure what it is that I like about that show, but it's also enticed me. I think that I like that it's changing every year, so you always get something new.

Is there a Breaking Bad slot????? If so, where???

Loved that show, but I get around the slots and am sure I would have seen it. ¬¬

Currently starting on Amazon Prime - Outlander, The Man in the High Castle, and Flesh and Bones - all are pretty good so far.

Watched Jessica Jones to episode 10 but got bored of it and gave up. Watching a few episodes of Community recently too, that was ok.

I love watching The Walking Dead. And there's this Season 1 of the Fear of Walking Dead. It was the time when people started becoming zombies.

I really dislike horror shows but with The Walking Dead, I like the action and the story. They all became brave, even women and kids. I don't think I can be that brave when there's a zombie in front of me! :D

For me, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and The Game of Thrones are the good ones to watch. Sometimes I watch the previous episodes during the weekends. There was a time it only took me a couple of days to watch Seasons 1 to 3 of the Walking Dead.

Watch out that you don't start walking Dead!....I prefer sitcoms and it's hard to choose one among them but I may say "The big bang theory" and "IT crowd!".

Is "The Big Bang Theory"  an action or a comedy theme?  I prefer watching funny shows to help lessen the stress from my daily job.  That's aside from sports.

Breaking Bad - Supreme favorite
Game of Thrones - Some men must live :D
House of cards - Thrilling, cold, shocking. I love it!
Fargo - It's like a Tarantino mini series for me. Just started the second season.
Modern family - Brilliantly amusing.
The fall - Not bad at all!
True detective - It's sick, it's true.
Mad Men - Because it's "draping"

I'm curious about "The Night Manager", a new series starring Hugh Laurie. Any reviews on this one?

Nice one about draping, I miss Mad Men already. :) Haven't heard about "The Night Manager", but I recently started watching Vinyl and Billins - they're both fantastic in my book.

    • A WinADay Casino player recently won a $312,785 progressive jackpot on one spin of the unique casino’s popular Air Mail slot game.  Diane A said she took a deep breath and then burst into tears when she saw what she’d won. When it finally sunk in, she started thinking about how she’d spend her massive win. “I’ve lived in a small town for most of my life, and am not exactly a traveler. This year, though, I made a promise to myself to be more adventurous, with max bets being one of them!” she told a WinADay customer service agent.  “So it’s time to say good-bye to the Great Plains, at least for a while, and travel the country a bit. Maybe even take my first trip abroad!” The fifty-something antique shop manager said she also plans on helping family including her  nephew who is a disabled veteran. “My friends were all astonished when I told them what had happened.  Some didn't even know I gamble!” Diane said she’s never been a fan of land-based casinos and has only ever played online, first on her computer and, more recently, on her tablet and phone.  “I love how I can play anywhere, whenever I want! she said. “AirMail isn’t actually among my favorite games!” she laughed.  “I just landed there to take a bit of a break from my true faves like Cirque de Paris, Full Bloom, Ice Crystals and Vegas Mania!” Her advice to other players is to change your bets often, if your budget allows.  “Gamble responsively, but be brave and up your bets once in a while. I wouldn’t have won this jackpot if I hadn’t felt lucky and placed a max bet!” WinADay is giving all active players a bonus to play on Air Mail, the game where Diane hit the jackpot. $18 FREE Available until May 31, 2023 Bonus code: AIRMAILJP Wagering requirement: 33x Valid for Air Mail only. Air Mail’s retro design pays tribute to the early days of flying. The symbols on the reels include a vintage seaplane, an early airship, luggage labeled with exotic ports of call, air mail letters to foreign destinations, and a swashbuckling pilot. It has a re-spin feature that gives players the option of trying for a better combination of symbols by spinning one reel again. WinADay was created by Slotland, an online casino pioneer. It’s an instant play online casino with a large collection of unique slots. Many, like Air Mail, are connected to one progressive jackpot.
    • You may have heard the term “fork” being used a lot in the crypto space, but do you know what it means and why it matters? A fork is a change in the rules or protocol of a blockchain network that creates two or more versions of the same coin. A fork can happen for various reasons, such as fixing bugs, adding new features, or resolving disputes among developers or miners.   There are two main types of forks: hard forks and soft forks. A hard fork is a radical change that makes the new version incompatible with the old one. This means that anyone who wants to use the new version has to upgrade their software and follow the new rules. A hard fork can create a new coin that splits from the original one, such as Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum Classic (ETC) from Ethereum (ETH).   A soft fork is a minor change that makes the new version compatible with the old one. This means that anyone who doesn’t upgrade their software can still use the old version and follow the old rules. However, they may miss out on some benefits or features of the new version. A soft fork can also create a new coin that coexists with the original one, such as Bitcoin Gold (BTG) or Bitcoin SV (BSV).   Why should you care about forks? Well, forks can have a significant impact on the price, performance, and security of your coins. They can also give you an opportunity to get free coins if you hold the original coin at the time of the fork. However, forks can also pose some risks and challenges, such as confusion, scams, or attacks. Therefore, you should always do your own research and be careful when dealing with forks.   What are your thoughts on forks? Do you have any questions or tips to share? Feel free to comment below! #Crypto #Fork #Education
