What's your favorite TV shows and why?

There has been an influx of good high quality TV shows in the past few years, so my list is really long. Some of my all time favorites are:

  • The Wire - Realistic and gritty, gripping.
  • OZ - Fantastic ensemble of actors, doesn't take prisoners, brutally enchanting.
  • Breaking Bad - Very well done - direction-wise, fantastic actors alongside Bryan Cranston's tour-de-force show.
  • Ray Donovan - Very smart show with great actors like Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber who should totally get an Emmy.
  • Boardwalk Empire - So much investment was put into recreating the 1920s and the setting of Atlantic City - this and seeing Steve Buscemi in a very interesting role.
  • The Larry Sanders Show - I miss this show so much, criminally underrated...
  • Curb your Enthusiasm - Larry David manages to make dull life situations into epic comedies.
  • Homicide: Life on the Streets - Gritty 90s detective show, who needs more?
  • Game of Thrones - Never read a page in any of the books but the show is just really well made.

I'm also watching Fargo, the second season just began, it's really interesting but I can't crown it as an all-time favorite yet, have to see how the second season goes through.

So what's your favorites?

I also love the Walking Dead, and I loved Breaking Bad while it was on. That's pretty much my all time favorite show. I just love to see how much Walt changes from the end to the beginning. I mean it's a pretty remarkable change. And if you ask me, it's a pretty scary one, because he really got into make the meth and just kept wanting more and more money. But otherwise some other shows that I like are American Horror Story, I'm not sure what it is that I like about that show, but it's also enticed me. I think that I like that it's changing every year, so you always get something new.

Is there a Breaking Bad slot????? If so, where???

Loved that show, but I get around the slots and am sure I would have seen it. ¬¬

Currently starting on Amazon Prime - Outlander, The Man in the High Castle, and Flesh and Bones - all are pretty good so far.

Watched Jessica Jones to episode 10 but got bored of it and gave up. Watching a few episodes of Community recently too, that was ok.

I love watching The Walking Dead. And there's this Season 1 of the Fear of Walking Dead. It was the time when people started becoming zombies.

I really dislike horror shows but with The Walking Dead, I like the action and the story. They all became brave, even women and kids. I don't think I can be that brave when there's a zombie in front of me! :D

For me, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and The Game of Thrones are the good ones to watch. Sometimes I watch the previous episodes during the weekends. There was a time it only took me a couple of days to watch Seasons 1 to 3 of the Walking Dead.

Watch out that you don't start walking Dead!....I prefer sitcoms and it's hard to choose one among them but I may say "The big bang theory" and "IT crowd!".

Is "The Big Bang Theory"  an action or a comedy theme?  I prefer watching funny shows to help lessen the stress from my daily job.  That's aside from sports.

Breaking Bad - Supreme favorite
Game of Thrones - Some men must live :D
House of cards - Thrilling, cold, shocking. I love it!
Fargo - It's like a Tarantino mini series for me. Just started the second season.
Modern family - Brilliantly amusing.
The fall - Not bad at all!
True detective - It's sick, it's true.
Mad Men - Because it's "draping"

I'm curious about "The Night Manager", a new series starring Hugh Laurie. Any reviews on this one?

Nice one about draping, I miss Mad Men already. :) Haven't heard about "The Night Manager", but I recently started watching Vinyl and Billins - they're both fantastic in my book.

    • Above all, slots should be fun. You might win money and you might not, but you should always have fun playing an online slot and never bet money that you can't afford to lose. A good rule of thumb is that when you sit down to play any kind of slot, you should consider your bankroll for the day to be money that you no longer have. That way, you're less likely to try to chase your losses and find yourself in an even worse position should things go wrong for you.
