The NFL has, for a long time, tried to break into the international market place bringing professional football to fans worldwide. Two UK-based Games Left This Year The first of the UK regular season NFL games went down on September 28 and it was the Dolphins that crushed the Raiders 38-14. Of all NFL games in the UK, this one was one of the best. Fans travelled from all over to see these teams go head to head and they were no disappointed. There are two games left for the 2014 regular season to be played at Wembley. The next will be on October 26 featuring the Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions and the second will be played on November 9 between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Dallas Cowboys. Falcons vs Lions The Falcons/Lions game should be the better of the two games left as both teams have a serious chance for a playoff berth. The Falcons are currently in second place in the NFC South, while the Lions are leading the close NFC North. Both QB’s are having excellent seasons so far with Matt Stafford (Lions) already throwing 1,400 yards and Matt Ryan (Falcons) throwing 11 touchdowns and over 1,600 through the air. Cowboys vs Jaguars The last game of the season to be played at Wembley features the last place Jaguars, 0-5 in the AFC South and the 4-1, second place Cowboys (NFC East). There is little hope for the Jaguars this season but for the Cowboys, it is a different story. After losing the first game of the regular season, Dallas have come back to win four straight including a close game against the Texans last week.
