Special Report: All You Wanted to Know About Payment Methods

Choosing a payment method for depositing with online casinos should not be limited to the credit card provided by your bank. Of course you can stick with your credit card, but alternative payment methods also exist. Finding the ideal option for you can depend on the country in which you live plus the financial rules applied by casinos and financial institutions. Coverage In spite of the internet connecting the entire world, only some digital payment methods can truly deliver global coverage. Leading off this special report are the best payment methods for coverage, with these consisting of Neteller, Skrill, CashU, bank transfer, VISA, and MasterCard. Highest Deposit Fees A major drawback for some web-based payment methods can be the inclusion of a costly deposit fee that hits your bank balance. Providers who charge the largest fees can generally be found within a percentage band of 8% to 14% for these charges. Before making a deposit, always check to see if you are incurring extra fees. Below are five of the highest chargers of deposit fees: 13.8% – Todito Cash (Mexican players only), 13% – Entercash (Wywallet), 9.3 – Paysafecard, 8.5% – Cash U, and 8% – Speedcard. Speedcard is a payment method accepted in Bulgaria, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Norway. Tip #1: Look for payment methods whose deposit fees are around 2-5%. Maximum Deposit Amounts Like credit and debit cards, e-wallets do have their financial limitations. However, these spending limits are set across most users of these payment methods. For instance, the standard deposit limits for mainstream methods like Skrill and Neteller are €5,000. Comparatively, it is possible to obtain a paysafecard worth up to €5,000. When using VISA and MasterCard, these feature specific €5,000 restrictions for casino deposits. For high rollers, however, there are alternative payment options that can be used for transactions that double the €5,000 rate to €10,000. The primary option for most players is an ecoCard, while Entercash can be used in Sweden and Finland and EUteller solely in Finland for €10,000 deposits. Tip #2: While you should pay attention to maximum deposit amounts, don't forget to check the other fees of the payment method. Maximum Withdrawals Although there are regular stories of casino players winning huge sums of money, you don’t often hear the practicalities of actually obtaining the winnings. For starters, you should know that large sums of winnings are typically paid out as instalments on a monthly basis. To speed up the process, it is smart to use payment methods that can withdraw larger sums. At the lower end of the scale, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, MasterCard, and VISA can all withdraw €2,300 in a single transaction. Moving up to the next level, it is possible for many European players to withdraw up to €5,000 when using Speedcard. Most Popular Scandinavian Payment Methods Entercash is emerging as a popular method, with players able to use their bank accounts and mobile devices to make payments. The primary appeal is that deposits can be made up to €10,000 for players situated in Finland and Sweden. In addition, transactions are completed instantly. EUteller is another quality option for Finnish players, who can deposit up to €10,000 and enjoy low deposit fees compared to similar payment methods. Instant Bank only carries a 3% deposit fee, while this payment method also has no minimum limit. In comparison, Nordea features a minimum deposit limit of €10, which is relatively standard, and a competitive deposit fee of just 2.5%. Special Deposit Bonuses You should never write off the possibility of switching to a different payment method, as some online casino sites will reward you with bonus funds for doing exactly that. One such example is Winner Casino, where players can benefit from a 15% deposit bonus just for using Skrill, Ukash, or iDeal. Even wire transfers qualify for that 15% bonus deal. Tip #3: Check out the payment section of your favourite online casino for special payment bonuses before choosing your payment method. Recommendations Casino Cruise has earned a special recommendation, having provided helpful information and inspiration for this special report. The casino's welcome bonus also comes with free spins. Deposits can be made by VISA, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Trustly, iDeal, giropay, Sofort, and EUteller at Casino Cruise. Summary: To recap, never assume that a payment method will be exempt from high deposit fees. Always check this or else you will risk adding huge sums of money to your payments over time, and often without realising the strain on your bank account.

UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid vs Liverpool

The Reds travel to Spain to take on arguably the best team in soccer right now, Real Madrid. In their last match against one another on October 22, Real Madrid beat Liverpool decisively after a pair of goals by Karim Benzema and another by Cristiano Ronaldo. Liverpool are looking to stay alive in the Champions League and even the equation against their Spanish rivals, but it may be a task way too tall as Real are virtually unbeatable at home. Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are proving to be one of the most dynamic duos of recent years. Both players are in the prime of their careers, with Ronaldo just one goal away from the Champion's League all-time scoring lead, and Benzema already with 9 goals netted in 13 starts.  Knockout Round If Madrid can beat Liverpool tonight, they will qualify for the knockout rounds, finishing atop Group B. This would put them with the other potential qualifiers: Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and FC Porto, leaving two games to left to play.  Real Madrid has been unstoppable lately and no one knows that better than former Liverpool defender, Alvaro Arbeloa, "We are on a good run, we have won 11 in a row and we want to make it 12 against Liverpool." They haven't lost a European competition match at home since April 2011 and their current winning streak has outscored opponents 46-7. Odds and Live Betting Markets Real Madrid are huge favorites to win tonight, having odds by UK online sportsbook, bet365 at 1.22 as opposed to the 13.00 given to Liverpool. Punters have the chance to try their luck with Correct Score, Half Time and Full Time Result, Over/Under, GoalScorers, Asian Handicap, Scorecast, Wincast, Timecast and much more.  This game should end in favor of the home town heroes, Real Madrid and it might be yet another blow-out. Expect a high scoring game with Real winning 4-1.

Barcelona Affiliate Conference Summary: Social and Expansion

The Barcelona Affiliate Conference (BAC) has expanded considerably in recent years, but this year's conference was a two-day treat.  Positive Networking Dynamic The networking mixers were enlivened by models and industry giants strolling amongst the throngs of industry professionals who had flocked to the event, and hosted by glorious weather and opulent surroundings. The crowd progressed from formal networking to an informal and familiar relationship by Day 2, and there was an extremely positive dynamic from the crowd that left all participants optimistic and inspired about the future. Emerging Theme of Social Engagement The importance of social engagement, a workshop led by Louis Derring of Income Access, was reported as a consensus as one of the surprise highlights of the event. The important message inspired was found in Derring's urging of the entire audience to tie all marketing channels to social media. Effective, easy ways to do that include adding “share” buttons to every page and putting up all available widgets. He also advised to prioritizing engagement in marketing engagement—focusing on getting people to click first before worrying about making sales. More tips offered by Deering included posting content with questions or content that is controversial. When it comes to marketing, responses are the majority of time more important than the sentiment. Asian and Latin American Affiliations There also unique affiliate programs reported, with more affiliate programs targeting Asian and Latin American traffic, a break from the normally Euro-focused BAC event. This seems to be the result of the high volume of saturation and segmentation taking place in the European markets, as well as a move towards tax and regulation in the American market.

Champions League Betting: Manchester City in Critical Game against CSKA Moscow

Manchester City's Etihad Stadium is sold out today for the crucial Champions League game against CSKA Moscow (8:45pm UK time). City is ranked third in Group E, two points away from Roma and seven from Bayern. They must win the game by a large margin of goals to remain relevant. City's Champions League Season Hangs in Balance The Premier League champion is still looking for its first victory in the 2014/5 Champions League season after a tough start. The citizens lost to Bayern Munich on the first gameweek then went on to finish with a 1-1 draw against Roma and a 2-2 draw with CSKA Moscow in the Russian capital. If City wants to stay in the Champions League this season, they must employ all forces for this match. City beat cross town rivals Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday and they're currently ranked third in the domestic league. Seeing that the draw in Moscow came after City blew a 2-0 lead, Manuel Pellegrini's men will give everything they've got today. CSKA Moscow Underdog CSKA's season hasn't been easy at all both in the domestic and in the CL. The team was beaten by Zenit St Petersburg 0-1 over the weekend and that might boost their motivation or have a reverse effect. Last year CSKA lost 5-1 at the Etihad against Manchester City and considering the team's straight 5 away losses, it's hard to see CSKA winning today and that would be a sensation and a fortune for an adventurous punter. In-play Betting Winner Sports is offering pre-match and in-play betting markets on tonight's game. Full time result odds gave 2/7 to Manchester City, 9/1 to CSKA and 11/2 for a draw. Winner will cover all Champions League games tonight - log-in to spice up your viewing with an in-play bet.

NBA Commissioner Expresses Support for US Sports Betting Regulation

The Commissioner of the NBA Adam Silver has expressed his support for legalized sports betting in the US. Speaking with Bleacher Report's Howard Beck, Silver said that the NBA's best interests are to embrace land-based and online sports gambling rather than work against it, and that he would like to help the government in establishing regulatory frameworks for sports betting, something which can be learned from European regulated markets. Sports Betting Inevitable According to Silver, legalized sports betting is inevitable and the current gambling laws are only preventing fans from domestic opportunities. Silver claims that the current gambling laws do not stop Americans from gambling on NBA and other sports: Local bookies and offshore online sportsbook with American punters. For Silver, this is millions in missed revenues and a fierce objection to get on with reality and the future. Silver commented on how easy it is for Americans to find online sports betting opportunities and contrasted the popularity and legality of online sports betting in Europe and how the NBA is very popular with European punters. English Premier League an Example Silver gave the English Football Premier League as an example for a successful sporting league which embraces gambling companies, with the gambling companies being promoted on team jerseys, in-stadium ad boards and other means. This way, both the operators and the Premier League teams profit. Mobile Sports Betting Silver noted how fans place bets on their mobiles and tablets as they watch the game, highlighting the fact that nowadays bets are varied and not placed only on the estimated winner but on proposition bets – what will happen in the first half, first ten minutes etc. Such specific bets can be placed on the NBA league which had just started at leading online sportsbooks like Winner Sports and bet365 Sports.

Humby's expertise stems from his experience as the chief architect of the wildly successful Tesco Clubcard and segmentation programme that brought the supermarket's reach to a new stratosphere. Humby was one of many hits among the speakers, networking and workshop that came off grandly this year in Berlin for EiG 2014.
